The cottage comes supplied with bedding and towels as well as wood for the wood burner and electric inclusive of the cost. The cottage is situated at Garsdale Head station on the Settle to Carlisle railway line and falls within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
It is six miles from the market town of Hawes which has shops, pubs restaurants and attractions including a museum and the Wensleydale cheese factory. The cottage is also within easy reach of the Lake District. There is also a pub approximately half a mile down the road. Due to its position on the hillside and within the row of cottages, no.5 has outstanding scenic views both across and down the valley. The upper floor also offers views up and down the railway line. The cottage itself has a unique layout as the upper floor is the living, dining and kitchen area with the two bedrooms and bathroom on the lower floor. The downstairs of the cottage consists of a porch, hallway, bathroom and two bedrooms. The rear bedroom has a double bed whilst the front has two full size singles.
The upper floor has a kitchen area with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, a dining table and chairs and a living area with two sofas, wood burner, TV, DVD and stereo.
